Super Powers Collection #22 is an issue of the series Super Powers Collection (Volume 1) published in 1984.
Synopsis for the 1st Story
Seeking to win Darkseid's approval, his army of Parademons travel to Earth and invade New York City. Dr. Fate, Green Lantern and Firestorm intercept them, but the Parademons' numbers and weaponry make them a formidable threat even to such superheroes. Noticing the kernel of a viable plan in Firestorm's remark of "Too bad we can't tell their mother on 'em", Dr. Fate creates an illusion of Darkseid chastising his soldiers for attacking without his order and demanding they return to Apokolips at once. Fearing no-one more than their evil master, the Parademons quickly obey.
