Synopsis for "One Fine Day"

In a wooded area just outside of Gotham, Damian, Clark, and Bruce watch as Jon tests out his newly emerging flight powers. With his telescopic vision (also fairly new), Jon spots a robbery in progress and, with the permission of his father and Bruce, flies off to stop it.

Clark and Bruce discuss how their sons' budding heroic careers may conflict with their educations as they drive away with Damian. Jon returns, landing in the back of the pickup truck. Damian joins him there, chastising him for telling his parents about their adventures together. Jon gets Damian to climb up on top of the truck so he can experience what flying feels like; Damian finds it ridiculous at first, but quickly starts to enjoy it.

We briefly cut away to the future, where a different Batman climbs out of the burning rubble of the GCPD building. He muses on how all his efforts to save the city were for nothing and declares, "The apocalypse is back on. Because I says so."

Late one night three weeks after Jon's flying practice, Batman and Superman tell their sons to get into costume and take them to an underwater facility which will serve as the Super Sons' new headquarters. Jon immediately names it the "Fortress of Attitude," over Damian's objections. After explaining the building's amenities to the boys, Bruce tells Damian that instead of being homeschooled, he will attend the West-Reeve School in Metropolis with Jon, and his continued career as Robin is conditional on regular attendance.

As soon as their fathers leave, Damian begins sweeping for bugs, but they are interrupted by an alert about a giant monster attacking Metropolis. Superboy and Robin run off to save the day one more time.
