Synopsis for "When I Grow Up... Part Three: Sibling Rivalry"

Several months, the Meyer family, calling themselves the "Super-Duffys", battle Titano in Providence. Reggie saves his sister Sara from the monster's clutches.

In the present, Jon and Damian battle each other's fathers, quickly discovering that their assailants are actually androids. As Jon prepares to use his super breath on the Batmandroid, the Supermandroid throws Damian into him from the warehouse.

The Super Sons confuse the androids with childish squabbling, then detonate a smoke bomb to ambush them. However, the two boys are quickly overwhelmed, until Sara Meyer uses her power over machines to make the androids release them. As the three race back to the warehouse, Superboy carrying Sara, Robin recaps the history of Amazo and the Amazo Virus. Sara explains that her family was among the small fraction of virus victims who kept their powers after being cured, and used them to become superheroes. Reggie, however, lost interest in the hero life and locked his family in the warehouse. After stealing the Amazo Armor from Lexcorp, his duplicates became power-copying androids instead of enhanced versions of himself. As the kids reach Damian's motorcycle, the Superman and Batman androids reassemble themselves into a squad of Robin and Superboy androids.

As Jon and Damian argue over whether it's time to call in the Justice League and why Superboy wasn't allowed to join the Teen Titans, "Sara" blows up the motorcycle and reveals that she is actually an android duplicate copying Sara's powers. The real Sara took control of her, but Reggie's mind is now fighting to reassert control. She collapses as the siblings battle for dominance, while the Robin and Superboy androids approach their flesh counterparts and demand they hand her over.

Sara takes control of her duplicate for long enough to destroy the other androids. She tells the real Robin and Superboy that the bodies they found in the warehouse were actually just androids, since Reggie wanted to kill them over and over, and the entire family is still alive, but Reggie will kill her soon. The Super Sons race through the forest to save her, battling androids the whole way, and we catch up with the flash forward from early in Issue #1. Robin tinkers with the head of a Superboy android, but before his plan comes to fruition, he and Superboy are swarmed and overpowered by replicas of each other.
