Synopsis for "Escape to Landis"
In the Coleumbrian Quarter, Ian finds the hiding place of Avryc and her gang, before raiding it with Jon and Tilly. Using his drone to project multiple rats, he makes a goon trip over their rope, before next take out her gang. Avaryc however escapes and they find she destroyed Devil's Head Eatery to erase proof of the virus. Lois meanwhile has been shifted to the Coleumbrian General Hospital and Jill warns Jon against pursuing those responsible. Learning Superman has recovered the Mars dust, Governor General Reed worries his plan to blackmail the world with PolarShield Project will fail, before Cray Ving suggests they smash a PolarShield drone into his shuttle. When Jon returns home, he overhears Avaryc telling her men to get him dead or alive, before escaping to a rooftop and telling Tilly to pick him up. Arriving in Nostorium, Candace remembers how her mother was overthrown and is forced to run after being spotted by guards. She enters a building upon seeing a foxglove sign and a mysterious figure makes her follow them through a tunnel.
After Jon climbs aboard the Bat-Craft with Ian and Tilly, the kids find drones chasing them. In Nostorum, the figure speaks a strange language and Candace realizes they're a Foxglove agent speaking the ancient Hierocymatic. When she speaks the language herself, the figure reveals they're a woman and states she must be a Foxglove too if she spoke it. Back in Coleumbria, Tilly hides the Bat-Craft inside the giant Big Boy Burger mascot and they escape the drones. In Nostorium, Candace and the woman work together to escape the sewer tunnel that's flooded by rats, before the latter takes her to meet her boss. The Super Sons and Tilly meanwhile are caught by Avryc and her gang as they keep going to the burger restaurant, but escape by starting a food fight. In Landis, Candace wakes up on a river boat to find that her jar of anointing oil has been taken by a kid. She has the birds create a whirlwind, causing him to drop it and flee. Back in Coleumbria, Tilly receives a message from Mr. Mylark, owner of Sage Foods, telling her to meet near the Hands of Unity.
Ian drops the other two before leaving, and Jon soon realizes that Mylark's been followed. Seeing no way out, he jumps on to the Hands of Unity with Tilly and Mylark, before being being up in the Bat-Craft. Mylark tells Ian to pass on his message to Patience, who's under surveillance. Jon contacts Mrs. Kiack to pass it on, but the kids are forced to wait for hours for a response. Soon, Patience contacts them instead and puts them in contact with Bruce, who tells Ian to infiltrate a LexCorp facility for a virus sample. In Landis, Candace receives vision of people chasing her and a bird flying, before running atop a monument as the police come after her. She calls out to the bird she saw in her dream, which causes the painted birds on the columns to become alive and attack the police. They also carry her to a boat sailing on the Denial River. The Super Sons and Tilly meanwhile successfully infiltrate the LexCorp facility, but are unable to find a virus sample. They thus decide to go after the Four Fingers.
Reed realizes the Super Sons' plan and agrees to Cray's advice of hiring Talia al Ghul, in order to chase them down with Avaryc. Later at a museum, Mylark tells Jon and Ian he can send the two in his company's crates to Landis. Meanwhile, Candace realizes she's reached her destination, after looking at the painting on her jar and meets the real Foxglove Council, before telling them that they need to stop the flu virus from being spread in their country. Two women - Archer and Kizuka, are deputed to help her. Landing in Nostorium, Jon and Ian get told by a kid to find the door with the flower when the distraction begins and they do, just as nearby kids start assaulting police officers. Meeting the Foxglove agent who met Candace earlier, they get told to take trains and camels, which is safer, and that Candace is the heir-apparent of Upper Landis. On the train to Tamalutin, Ian accidentally lets the police know about them after taking a selfie with two girls, but they successfully escape by disguising themselves as Tilly and Patience with their wristbands.
Reed meanwhile learns the boys have reached Landis and orders Talia to kill them. Later, Candace who has been sitting near the Denial River for three hours after being told by Foxglove, soon spots a group of fish sending her a message with a strange formation. A washer woman informs that it is the Zeetqeest mountain range in Heburah region. Jon and Ian reach the same spot two days later, before being directed by the woman to where Candace went. During the night, Kizuka hears a group of snakes coming towards them and Archer sets up a flame circle. Knowing it will last only a few minutes, Kizuka tells them to bury themselves under the sand till morning when the snakes fall asleep and use straws stuck in their sand beds to breathe. The plan works and they escape. Reaching a LexCorp facility, Candace finds that they can avoid alerting the security by flying high and tells Kizuka and Archer to wrap their bedsheets to create a parachute. Talia while following Jon and Ian with Avaryc, tells her not to harm Ian, and Jon soon overhears them.
At night, Ian uses sleeping bags to trick their stalkers, causing Talia to send out a palm-tree like signal. The boys soon find themselves chased by black-clad horsemen led by Talia and use their wristbands to create a giant snake hologram, scaring all the horses away. Ian however realizes that he had seen their leader in Bruce's office. Reaching a LexCorp facility, Jon finds Candace inside with two women, one of whom can hear sounds from far away. He then sends a message through Kizuka to Candace, informing her that it's him and Ian. Acting on her advice, Jon and Ian tie their blankets to create a parachute and reach the facility's roof. They soon spot Talia and her horsemen coming towards them. Candace informs that the facility is only building containers, probably for bombs, and has the birds alert the building's security, so Talia's army has to fight them. In Wyndmere, Perry White tells Patience about an informant telling him that G. Reed has learnt about trouble in Landis and the boys must be there.
Patience contacts Tilly who tells her that she can find them with the Bat-Craft, and she advises her to use the Wayne ships at sea for recharging. Later on, a PolarShield drone gets directed at Superman's shuttle, but he successfully manoeuvres it out of the way. In Landis, Candace and the others find a rat which they realize is a spy, but can lead them to the Four Fingers. Reaching a township, Ian uses a drone to find where vermin are gathering in huge numbers. The drone also allows Tilly to find where they are. Ian soon discovers a vermin gathering, before getting into disguise with Jon and splitting up. Jon goes with Candace while Ian takes Arrow and Kizuka, but they soon realize they're being followed. Tilly soon finds Jon and Candace, before learning about the LexCorp facility. Kizuka meanwhile discovers that the Four Fingers are disguising a big facility as a series of shacks in middle of town, while Archer deals with Talia's followers. Jon overhears Kizuka and finds she is correct, but also find that the doors are fake.
Ian and Kizuka soon find the real entrance, while the birds start attacking Talia's followers. Jumping onto the roof, Jon tears it up and enters the building where the Four Fingers are manufacturing the virus. Talia and Avaryc catch up to them, but Ian and Kizuka arrive there as well. As Ian attacks the two women, Kizuka finds that the Fingers are trying to block the sunlight as it will destroy the virus. The birds help Archer replenish her quiver, meanwhile in the hideout, the kids fight against the Fingers, Talia and Avaryc. Bashata sets a tigress upon Jon, and Talia soon threatens to unleash the virus if the kids don't give up. Kizuka signals Jon to let the sunlight in, which he passes on to Candace, who uses the birds to destroy the roof. One of the vials breaks due to the whirlwind, but the virus is destroyed by the sunlight. Talia tries to get the the other vial, but is soon attacked by Candace's birds. She pleads with Ian to save her, revealing to his shock that she's his mother.
Tilly informs others that the LexCorp facility has received some virus shipments, which are being loaded onto warplanes in order to bomb other cities. Candace has the townspeople assault the facility and they battle Talia's followers nearby. The warplanes crash after being hit by birds sent by Candace, who remembers she told them to attack all flying machines, which causes them to attack Tilly's Bat-Craft too. Jon meanwhile acts upon Candace's plan and tosses a rod onto the roof, which she strikes with lightning to destroy the roof and the virus inside. Superman after landing back on Earth questions Reed about the PolarShield drone nearly hitting his shuttle, and is told it maybe an accident. Bruce tells Clark he has part of the cure for Lois' illness, while their sons are after the virus sample he needs to complete it. Clark in turn tells him to keep an eye on Reed. In Landis, Jon and the others rush towards the site where the Bat-Craft crashed, but find Tilly survived.
Superman upon hearing his son, soon reaches his location. Early Landis' dictator Maasdam Havarti is soon jailed for trying to poison other nations, and Candace later promises to liberate all kingdoms of Landis under dictatorships. She is soon crowned queen of Upper Landis and is also proclaimed as empress of all of Landis by her subjects. During the coronation, Aminia realizes that it was Bashata warning her all along and she states that they need to work with her. Before they go, Tilly and the Super Sons give Candace a group hug. Two weeks later, Bruce develops a cure for Lois' illness and gives her the cure. Jon is by her mom's side when she wakes up, and soon, Bruce and Clark tell their sons that they are proud of what they did, stating they are their "Super Sons".
