Superboy was the leader of a multi-dimensional resistance against the tyranny of Black Zero.

History

Superboy was allied with and dating his earth's version of Knockout and his other known allies include the displaced Challengers of the Unknown from New Earth and the Newsboy Legion which originally freed him from Cadmus. He stole a Hyperjacket from a version of Project Cadmus and with June Robbins' help managed to key it to his genetic makeup in order to use it to travel to other dimensions. Superboy was fatally injured by Paul Westfield as he ported to New Earth to warn the local heroes of Black Zero's impending invasion. Kon-El of New Earth was able to use his Hyperjacket to travel through dimensions and investigate his warnings due to their identical genetic makeup.

Powers and Abilities

Powers

• Tactile Telekinesis: He can use telekinesis on things he has contact with.
  • Telekinetic Flight: He can use his telekinesis to propel himself in flight.
  • Telekinetic Force-Field: By creating a field around his body he was able to resist or reduce injury by deflecting attacks, though he cannot reliably deflect energy based attacks.
  • Telekinetic Strength: Superboy displays greater than human strength. He achieves this through manipulation of his telekinesis in the same manner as his New Earth counterpart was still doing at his age. Superboy did not live long enough to develop his Kryptonian strength.

Abilities

• Leadership: Superboy was leading a resistance against Black Zero.

Weaknesses

• Kryptonian Physiology: Under the effects of a "yellow" sun, Superboy possesses the same potential weaknesses as an average Kryptonian. These include:
  • Vulnerability to Kryptonite
  • Vulnerability to Magic

• Vulnerability to Electricity: Westfield exploited Superboy's vulnerability to electricity to fatally injure him with a powerful electric weapon. Unlike his New Earth counterpart he never grew old enough for his Kryptonian heritage to start protecting him against energy attacks.
