A mob is operating a whiskey still near Smallville and intend to shut Jonathan Kent's mouth for demanding the police drive the gang away and to steal an invention of Prof. Lewis Lang's, but Superbaby accidentally foils their plans.

Synopsis for "The Secret of Krypton's Scarlet Jungle!"
Superboy meets and battles a Thought-Beast from the planet Krypton, whose natural strength is greater than his own. It could not be defeated, nor could Superboy send it into the Phantom Zone. The creature has a thought screen that shows its intentions, and Superboy creates a similar device to lead the creature away from Earth. He terraforms an asteroid to ape the Scarlet Jungle and the creature is content.
