Synopsis for "The Simpleton of Steel!"

Saving coal-miners from a cave-in, Superboy is exposed to Red Kryptonite and pretends to be made into a simpleton, in order to trap two gangsters. Chief Parker and the President of the Smallville Bank and Trust are part of the trap, where "Specs" McGurk and "Scarface" Malone are fooled into disclosing their operation.
