Synopsis for "Lex Luthor, Imp"

Mxyzptlk returns to Earth to plague Superboy. Lex Luthor seizes the opportunity and builds a machine to siphon off Mxyzptlk's powers and give them to himself. Angry that he was upstaged, Mxyzptlk starts a battle with Luthor with Superboy caught in the middle. Superboy tricks Mxyzptlk into saying his name backwards, sending the imp home to Zrfff. Luthor retains his powers though. Superboy tries the same trick on Lex, but even when he says his name backwards, Lex's powers don't disappear. Superboy then examines the machine that gave Lex his power. After completing his analysis, Superboy finds a way to remove Lex's powers using a coded set of numbers which represent Lex's name.

Synopsis for "The Fists and the Fury!"

While handling an emergency, Superboy is suddenly attacked by three disembodied fists. Since the fists are not attached to bodies, the Boy of Steel is unable to fight back. Oddly, the fists break off their attack as suddenly as it began. After one more strange encounter with the flying fists, Superboy changes into his Clark Kent identity. The fists come after him again, but before they can strike and expose his secret, they fly off in another direction.

Superboy deduces that the fists were created when he was accidentally exposed to Red Kryptonite. The fists were then drawn to him by a magnet, he had kept in the pocket of his cape. Each time the fists broke off the attack when Superboy neared a heat source which interrupted the magnet's pull. When the Red K wears off, the threat of the fists ends.

Synopsis for "The Dog from S.C.P.A!"

While Superboy is on a Legion mission, Krypto patrols space, sees a colossal dog super-hero named Mammoth Mutt killed by a missile, and learns from the dog’s dying breaths about the Space Canine Patrol Agents, a group of dog super-heroes, and the Canine Caper Gang, who sent the missile that killed him. Krypto helps free the SCPA, learning that each dog hero has a single super-power (such as Tusky Husky’s ability to grow a long tooth, and Tail Terrier’s elastic tail), and helps them defeat the evil Top Dog and his Canine Caper bunch. Krypto is admitted to the SCPA, then returns to Earth, awaiting the next summons from his fellow canine crimebusters.
