Synopsis for "The Notorious Captain Sinbad Kent!"
This story is reprinted from Superboy #79.
Jonathan Kent is disgraced when a genealogy chart drawn up in Smallville High School exposes the fact that his ancestor during the Revolutionary War, Captain Sinbad Kent, was a notorious pirate. Superboy goes back in time, has an adventure with Sinbad Kent, and proves that he was actually a secret agent working for General Washington. After Superboy returns to the present, this is confirmed by the discovery of a document clearing Sinbad Kent's name, signed by George Washington himself. The Kent family's reputation is redeemed.
