Synopsis for Hyper-Tension! Part Five, "Zero Tolerance"
Superboy and the Challengers of the Unknown escaped out of their cell in Black Zero's headquarters. Also free is a horde of Doomsdays from different realities, but Black Zero eliminates this threat by teleporting them into a dead Hyperzone. Then the villain immediately focusses his attention back on Superboy and the Challengers of the Unknown. They were just tryingto figure out how to send all imprisoned Superboys back to their respective realities when Black Zero destroys the console which held all necessary teleporting codes to do that. But Black Zero makes a mistake and suddenly all Superboys are awake and free as well. This leads to a fight between them, Black Zero and his Stormguards.
The Challengers of the Unknown want to use this distraction to look for other ways sending everybody home. Actually, Metron might be the key for the solution. The Superboys use their combined tactile telekinesis to stop Black Zero, but then all but Kon-El disappear. Black Zero is active again, but suddenly a mother box attaches itself on his breast and subdues him thanks to Metron. The Challengers convinced Metron that it would be interesting to observe a reality where Black Zero does not protect Genetix.
Metron equips the Challengers of the Unknown with the knowledge and technology to travel through Hypertime. They take Superboy and the subdued Black Zero with them. But Black Zero awakes and rips a hole into the Hypership. But as Superboy is about t disappear in Hypertime, Black Zero saves him in fear of being erased from all realities. He puts Superboy back in the ship, but then vanishes. Having lost one member and a damaged ship at their disposal, the Challengers try to steer through Hypertime ...
