Synopsis for "Give Me Liberty--!"
Superboy stumbles into the Harem aboard Kossak's ship and finds Serling Roquette -- well, first he finds a shape-shifting alien that looks like Serling who tries to kill him -- then he finds Serling herself. The Harem is controlled by Stellar Dallas, kind of a pushover Granny Goodness, who wants to turn Superboy in herself. She forces him to put on a servo-collar and escorts both he and Serling away from the harem. However, it is a ruse, as she's really a rebel slave and the collar is a fake. Dallas tells the Kid that they have to shut down the Brain Bank in order to shut down all the active collars and the Kid says they should get down to business. However, when one of the slaves tells him that Director Mickey Cannon won't survive long in the Pit (which is where Superboy knows he was taken) he decides that has to be their first priority.
Superboy and the slave Bennok manage to trick the Pit Guards into showing them Mickey, who is being tortured. SB shatters Mickey's collar which instantly alerts Kossak. He appears as a hologram and confirms Superboy's presence, which he decides to deal with by opening an air lock and blowing everyone in the room out into space. Superboy expands his shield to maximum to try and save them, but Mickey is blown out into the void. Kon-El doesn't hesitate for a second and manages to fly out and bring him back in as Bennok closes the door in a matter of seconds.
Kossak and Dallas (who was actually a mole inside the rebel movement) take Serling to the Brain Bank, a big machine that has a lot of geniuses hooked up to it. Superboy and Mickey enter the scene, everything being part of the kid's plan and carried out by Dallas (who was actually, actually a real rebel posing as a mole). A cadre of slaves turn their weapons on Kossak, but he activates their collars and calls out his loyal troops who open fire on Superboy's team. Kon-El manages to deflect one of Kossak's blast at the Brain Bank which busts it, freeing all those hooked up (including Gadget Guru) and shuts down all the slave collars. The slaves are now all free and turn on Kossak. His force field keeps them back and he warns that one of them will rise to take his place before escaping on a shuttle.
The Guru tells Superboy that he knows where Kossak is headed -- straight for Earth.
