Synopsis for "How Kon-El Got His Groove Back"

Superboy crawls out of bed at his room at Cadmus one morning in a severe depression. He thinks back to a recent event that happened while hanging out with Young Justice. He, Impulse, and Robin had been battling a giant robot that proceeded to both blow snot over Kon and vomit on him (seriously). Still, the kid takes down the robot.

At the scene were two girls about the Kid's age: Buffy and Bianca. Buffy thinks Superboy is really cute and gives him her number. Bianca, however, is not impressed with him at all. Superboy worries that he may be losing his appeal. He tries talking to his fellow guys at Young Justice (including Lobo) but they do not help him feel any better. So Kon goes to see Guardian and ask his advice. Jim tells him that he needs to just relax and live life as normal teen for a while. Feeling a little better, Superboy decides to drop by Buffy's house, but overhears Bianca talking to her. Bianca says that Superboy is nothing besides being a superhero and doesn't even look good, which crushes Superboy.

The next day, Superboy goes to Steel for help (in the midst of a huge crisis in Massachusetts) but ends up feeling much, much worse about himself when a little girl says that Hoppy the Marvel Bunny, a cartoon rabbit, is cooler than he is. After that, per Lobo's advice, Superboy goes on a panty raid — at Wonder Girl's place! In the midst of this, he feels at an all-time low, which is why it was the perfect time for Superman to show up. The Man of Steel assures the kid that he's just in a rut and needs to step back and reexamine his life, thereby learning to appreciate it again.

Inspired by the great one, Superboy heads straight for Bianca's and asks her to help him get back in touch with what it means to simply be a young man. Bianca gives him one heckuva crash course in pop culture and (after a few failures) helps him settle on an all-new uniform. The last test Bianca gives Superboy is to see if he'd go too far — but he passes it with flying colors and comes fully out of his funk with a new appreciation for who he is and what it means to be Superboy ...
