After putting a permanent stop to a Cyborg Superman, Supergirl has to face the horrors lurking in the mind of Kryptonian werewolf Lar-On. Afterwards, Supergirl's cousin pays her a visit to catch up and warn her someone has been tampering with their lives and he'll need her help to defeat him. Later, a joint mission with Batgirl leads both heroines to the Phantom Zone, where they'll have to face up to Xa-Du, as well known as the Phantom King, an old enemy of the House of El which intends to boil Supergirl over and steal her power to escape from the Zone.
