Supergirl (Volume 6) #34 is an issue of the series Supergirl (Volume 6) with a cover date of October, 2014. It was published on August 20, 2014.
Synopsis for "The Girl Who Fell To Earth"
After defeating Worldkiller-1, Supergirl returns to Earth.
Unfortunately the atmosphere is shrouded in a cloud of Kryptonite. Feeling weakened, Kara falls into a building in Queens NY and is found by a wheelchair bound boy named Michael.
Seeing Supergirl sick, Michael realizes the Kryptonite is hurting her. He takes her into the old bomb shelter in his building's basement and covers her in lead blankets.
Kara awakens and Michael explains he brought her down to let her recover. He also tells something is making the people in Metropolis comatose. His parents are in Metropolis right now and he has been trying to reach them unsuccessfully.
Hearing Metropolis has been turned into a disaster zone, Kara decides to go there to find Michael's parents and help. After a quick solar recharge she flies to Metropolis and convinces the police to let her help out.
Kara uses her super-senses to find survivors and her super-strength to rescue them. As she helps the police and fire fighters, she finds Michael's parents safe and sound.
Kara flies back to New York to tell Michael the good news. He kisses her impulsively and starts to apologize, but Kara cuts him off, telling that kiss was real nice.
All of soon, Michael and everyone around Kara are stricken by some kind of glowing energy and forced into a suspended animation state. Kara looks up to see the Brainiac's ship and Cyborg Superman.
