Synopsis for "Everything You Wanted to Know about Lois Lane"
Lois Lane returns from South America distraught over the developments regarding her sister Lucy. Her sister had worked as an agent for the 100 and is presumed to be dead. As Lois wanders the city in the rain she is mugged by two men but a courageous woman named Julie comes to her aid. Julie and Lois chase off the muggers and return to Julies apartment to dry off. As they are talking there is a knock at the door. The apartment landlord Mr Arnold arrives looking for Julies elderly parents who have disappeared. Before leaving, Arnold states that he must have their rent money or else he will be forced to repossess their apartment. Julie describes the details of her parents disappearance to Lois. Her parents had apparently received a brochure advertising an elderly community known as Paradise Haven. A bus had come to pick them up along with other elderly couples but that was the last time they were seen. Lois feels guilty for her self pity and knows she must help her new friend. She resigns from the planet staff and announces that she will only work as a free lance writer. She also meets with Superman and tentatively ends their relationship to concentrate on helping people. She feels she must take these steps to honor her deceased sister.
Lois finds that she must move into a more affordable apartment and places an ad for roommates. She then heads to the library to research a hunch. She confirms that the apartment manager Mr Arnold is really an ex-con named Jack Foster. Lois formulates a plan to expose Foster as a crook by disguising herself as an old woman. She visits Fosters office in disguise and offers to become his partner by luring more elder people into his Paradise Haven scam. Foster reluctantly agrees after Lois threatens to expose him. He gives Lois a helicopter tour of Paradise Haven which is located inside a dormant volcano. Foster describes how the elderly tenants are stranded inside the volcano which sits on a fault line. While they are trapped there, Foster plans to tear down their former apartment residence for a profit. In the meantime back at the planet, Clark spots a letter written to Superman from Lois. Using his X-ray vision, Clark sees that the letter contains a micro-homing device. The letter instructs Superman to tune in to the device's matching frequency to find Lois who will require his help. Superman rushes to Lois's aid as Foster is about to throw her off the helicopter after discovering her disguise. He subdues Foster but then notices that the volcano below is experiencing an earthquake. He rescues the elderly tenants and notices a fissure inside the volcano that contains large veins of Uranium. He figures that the wealth from the Uranium could be used to buy the elderly tenants new homes. Weeks later Lois is settling into her new apartment with her 3 roommates Julie Spence,Marsha Mallow and Kristin Cutler.

Synopsis for "The Amazing Brain Machine!"
Professor Potter arrives at Lois's apartment with a new computer that he calls MANIAC mathematical Analyzer Numerical Integrator and Automatic Computer. The computer is designed to answer the most complicated problems. Lois asks for a demonstration and the computer is able to figure out why Lana Lang is staying at Lois's apartment. It also determines the location of Lana's lost pin. Professor Potter asks Lois to keep the computer in her apartment to keep it from falling into criminal hands. The Professor also warns Lois not to tamper with MANIAC because it has not yet been perfected. Ignoring the Professors warning, Lois uses the computer to find stolen loot from a gang of thieves. She also uses MANIAC to tell her how to best obtain a raise from her boss Perry White. After witnessing MANIACS amazing abilities, Lois asks the computer to help her marry the man of her dreams. The computer spits out a note and tells Lois to read it when she is in the arms of her man who will be at lookout point in an hour. Lana Lang witnesses Lois using the computer and decides to use it as well to steal Lois's man away. The two women then tussle with each other and Lois destroys MANIAC to prevent Lana from using it. She travels to lookout point but is disappointed to find Clark there instead of Superman. She learns that Clark is there to report on firework preparations for an upcoming celebration. Lois deduces that her longtime hunch that Clark and Superman are one and the same must be correct. She produces the note from MANIAC but it is blown away by the wind. In her frenzy to catch the note, Lois knocks off Clarks glasses which fall to the bottom of the platform and the lenses ignite the fireworks that has been set up below. The explosion from the fireworks blow up the platform that Clark and Lois had been standing on. Clark then has to summon a Superman robot to rescue the two of them. The robot also prevents Lois from confirming that he is really Superman. Clark later finds the note that blew away and finds that it instructed Lois to propose because she now knew that Clark was really Superman in disguise. In the end Professor Potter decides to dismantle MANIAC because mankind is not ready for such technology.
