While rooming with Lana Lang, Lois Lane uses her bio-ring to transform herself into the Bug-Belle to rescue a child. She keeps the identity to patrol Metropolis in Superman's absence, but a female agent of the Anti-Superman Gang steals the ring and uses it to transform herself into a super-powered Kryptonian insect form. Lois and Lana team up as an Insect Queen Duo in order to defeat her.
