Synopsis for "The Human Metal-Eater!"

After Jimmy is bitten by a Metal-Eater in the Fortress of Solitude, he gains the power to eat and digest metal for 48 hours. A gang of crooks realize this and use Jimmy to chew his way into Professor Potter's safe to take some kryptonite.

The crooks use Jimmy Olsen's Signal Watch to trap Superman and Krypto in a submarine with the kryptonite; but Jimmy saves the day by eating the kryptonite, with a little lead on the side.

Synopsis for "The Richest Boy in Metropolis!"

Two villains seek to humiliate Jimmy Olsen by convincing him he has won the Pot-of-Gold Sweepstakes, and Jimmy goes on a premature spending spree. When the pot of fake money appears, Jimmy's creditors hound him out of town, but they fail to reckon with the Jimmy Olsen Fan Club, who bail him out.

Synopsis for "The Helmet of Hate!"

When Coluan allies of Brainiac attack and Superman cannot penetrate their force-field, Jimmy Olsen pretends to be corrupted by the Hate Helmet and turn Superman into a living devil. The hoax works to get the Superman Emergency Squad into the Coluans ship, and they tear it apart.
