Synopsis for "Arrival, Part II"

Clark and Lois faced challenges on raising Jon in their new world. They had to change jobs, identities and address to make their new lives work. Lois worked on a small town newspaper while Clark worked for their landlord, Shel Montgomery; while keeping his Superman activities off the public eye. While Lois got a visit from Shel, Superman saved Chicago from newcomer supervillain Shockwave. After confiscating Shockwave's armor, Superman is attacked by military aircraft. He easily destroys their missile and returns home.

Back in the present, a military team investigates the Excalibur's wreckage. One scientist, Chambers, wonders how the Excalibur did not burn up on reentry. Closer examination on the vessel reveals the garbage bins are full and the food stores are exhausted. Also a picture taken from a satellite reveals a humanoid shape (Superman) steering the Excalibur.

At Jon's school, Lois is called for a meeting with Principal Dubois while Jon is teased for checking the news in the middle of class. While driving home, Lois and Jon are attacked by gunmen. Their car is thrown next to the woods. Lois grabs a phone and warns Clark about their Protocol Omega while Jon knocks one of the thugs out with a leadpipe.

Lois and Jon run to the woods while Clark easily dispatches their attackers. While Lois and Jon return home, Clark disposes of any evidence the thugs might have acquired on them. On their barnyard, Clark and Lois talk about what happened. Their attackers were Intergang; they must have followed Lois after her meeting with Cora. They agree not to resort to Protocol Omega and just be more careful, while Jon watches them from his window.

Meanwhile at the crash site, Chambers gets a photo of the cockpit, revealing Henshaw was piloting the ship. At the same time, an unconscious Henshaw lies on a table while being tended to by medical machinery.

Onboard a spaceship light years away from Earth, a khund warrior is interrogated for the location of the Oblivion Stone. The interrogator informs his master the Oblivion Stone is on Earth.
