Synopsis for "Arrival, Part III"

For years, Superman had labored in secret in the new world. He took precautions to ensure no one discovered him and endangered his family. Until he came across the villainous Blanque, and for the first time Superman was forced out in the open to fight him.

A psychic killer who described himself an artist, Blanque had devastated an entire town and Superman dragged him into low orbit, where the lack of oxygen knocked him out. With no other options available, Superman took Blanque to an undisclosed location where he would not kill anyone again.

In the present, Clark and Lois discuss Intergang's attack and conclude they are unaware Lois White is "Author X" even without verifying their information, they still attacked Lois and Jon. No matter what happens, Lois decides to publish her new book. Suddenly, Jon asks his parents about the new car they got. The old one is in repairs, so the town supplied them a new one. Also, Lois has already given her statement to the police for their investigation. Clark and Lois ask Jon to keep quiet about what happened, and he agrees before leaving for school.

After making sure Jon arrived at school safely, Superman leaves for the mountains, where he has constructed a new Fortress of Solitude. There, he can further his activities and put away dangerous objects. This is where Superman took Henshaw for medical attention after the Excalibur crashlanded. According to the Fortress' Ai, Henshaw's vitals have been erratic ever since he was brought there. Superman attempts to talk to Henshaw, who suddenly awakens and attacks him. Blanque has taken control of Henshaw and uses him to bury Superman under a wall. Then, he brings him to the Fortress's detention block, where Blanque is being held. Previously, Blanque scoured Henshaw's mind and saw other places, including Coast City. Now, he has seen Superman's mind and discovered there is a woman and a child under his protection. He plans to pay them a visit.

In California, Bruno Manheim receives word that the attack on Author X has failed. Disappointed, Manheim throws two of his men into a pool, which he then electrifies.

In outer space, the mysterious conqueror has attacked a Dominator world in search for the Oblivion Stone. After gaining information from a captured Dominator that the Oblivion Stone is in the Sol system, she kills him.
