Synopsis for "Arrival, Conclusion"
Sometime after Superman has left to address an emergency, Jon is reading about his father's exploits in the newspaper. According to Lois, Clark had managed to save people and prevent catastrophes without being seen. Inspired by his father's courage; Jon attempts to fly, only to fall to the ground face first. Lois tells him to wait until his powers develop properly, but still, Jon cannot believe his father is a superhero.
After receiving a vision of conquered alien worlds, Superman has flown to the island where Hyathis is attacking Chambers and Henshaw. There, Superman and Hyathis lock each other in combat. She demands Superman to hand over the Oblivion Stone, while Henshaw tells him not to do what she says. According to Hyathis, Henshaw found the stone on Jupiter and brought it to Earth. Superman has no idea what the Oblivion Stone, but remembers he found a necklace with a partial jewel years ago and has kept it in his Fortress since. Perhaps it is the same stone Hyathis is looking for.
Hyathis uses plants and vines to pin Superman to the ground and interrogate him about the stone, but Superman frees himself and pushes her back with a blast of heat vision. During the confrontation, Hyathis drops her half of the stone and Henshaw hides inside his pocket. Chambers distracts Hyathis with a few gunshots to her helmet, allowing Superman to press on the attack. Hyathis is forced to withdraw but promises to return for the stone. Chambers asks Superman if he was the mysterious presence that saved many people all those years, but Superman merely takes his leave. Still, Chambers directs his suspicions towards Henshaw.
Clark returns home and is reunited with his family. Lois informs him her Intergang exposé Is on press, and when her book is released next week, Intergang is done for. Still, Jon cannot believe his life changed so much during these last few days. To comfort him, Clark and Lois take him to the barn's basement, where they keep a chest filled with things from their old world. One of those is the suit Clark used to wear. He then gives the cape to Jon and the boy attempts to fly. His parents tell him to relax and Jon succeeds. Jon has made his first flight and his parents watch with pride.
