Synopsis for "When No One's Looking"
After learning about Jimmy Olsen quitting his job at the Daily Planet so as to work as the personal photographer of the new superhero named Soar, Perry White criticizes him for it. Jimmy states that he never got respect at the newspaper despite working as hard as his top journalists and has been held back despite his talents. Lois tells Clark to leave him alone and make his own choices. He tries to convince him as Superman but states he'll respect his decision after he doesn't agree.
Some weeks later, Superman learns of Killer Moth and Firefly attacking Metropolis residents and flies away to stop them, but finds Soar had already subdued them. Clark informs him that he still hasn't tried to talk to him off-camera, with Soar mocking that he just likes to share details with the public similar to how he does with Lois Lane. Jimmy calms the tension between the two and convinces Superman to pose for Soar's coffee table book.
At his studio, Soar praises Jimmy for the pictures he clicked for his coffee table book. Jimmy then shows him images of villains being paid by him, revealing he quickly understood earlier that he was paying them off to fight him. Superman meanwhile after talking to Firefly and Killer Moth flies away to find Soar. Jimmy accuses Soar of endangering people for fame but he responds that he had no chance of being a hero with Superman around.
Telling Soar he should have just helped in whatever way he could regardless of whether he got fame or not, Jimmy uses his signal watch. Superman arrives and Soar gets in a fight with him, but is easily subdued. Perry later learns that Jimmy had quit to be able to expose Soar and commends him for his job, with Jimmy replying that he wanted to prove himself. White warns he'll lose his job permanently next time he quits but appreciates his work, offering a cup of coffee to him.

Synopsis for "The Wrath of Wioska"
Superman has arrived at the planet Gatoshi to learn the art of fighting from Wisoka, who had trained the greatest fighters there were before quitting the service of Apokolips, stating he mostly relies on his power but it's getting harder as his enemies get stronger. Wisoka doubts he can imbibe his teachings but he states that he has no choice.
Deep in her lair, she states that he is foolish for thinking of not using his full power and fears that he will become like the tyrants he hates if he accesses it. She binds him with "The Bonds of Yuga Khan", which leaves him with only a tenth of his power and will be fatal if he doesn't earn it back, before telling him to stop using a defensive approach and adopt an offensive one to protect others. During the training, Wisoka states she isn't impressed but he refuses to quit. While resting, Clark states that he learnt from his parents to always use his powers responsibly so as to help others and not to harm anyone, but he rarely uses them for his own protection.
The next morning, Wisoka states that his powers must have completely returned and starts attacking people at a market since he won't unleash them for his own protection, leading him to jumping in front of his beams. As he deflects one of her beams back to her, she mocks him stating he'll need to use his own powers to defeat her. He does and starts attacking her, before suddenly stopping in order to know if she really was going to kill others. She replies in the negative and states that it was only a test, before stating power is only bad as longas the one with it is.
