Synopsis for "Invasive Species"

Brainiac learns that Superman is coming for him and guesses that he must have had a network in his Fortress of Solitude that can detect his high cerebral activity, after the incident with the Dyvira fungi. After being confronted by his adversary, Brainiac informs that his experiments are to test what kind of force he'll need to take his enemies down and releases a shrunken Kaigora in front of him. The beast soon grows to its full size and Superman learns from him that it loves consuming jet fuel.

As he tries to get the Kaigora off an airport runway, he gets attacked and later is forced into a battle as it tries attacking the control tower. After being grabbed in its teeth, he gets contacted by Brainiac who tells him that it will soon multiply into thousands of Kaigoras by replicating itself. After breaking out of its mouth, Superman stops it from grabbing an airplane, but gets stomped under its feet. He soon puts a stop to it and flies away with the beast, realizing it needs a warm atmosphere to reproduce.

The Kaigora is left by the Superman on an Arctic ice cap where it becomes dormant, but Brainiac contacts him again and states that it'll be woken up sooner or later since the ice cap will melt due to global warming, forcing him to take its life. Clark destroys the diode that allows Brainiac to talk to him, promising to come after him and take the Kaigora back to its planet.
