- — Superman
Superman: The Man of Steel #29 is an issue of the series Superman: The Man of Steel (Volume 1) with a cover date of January, 1994.
Synopsis for "Blood Thirst!"
Jimmy Olsen and Ron Troupe are sitting at lunch and are attacking by the villain Hi-Tech, a former human, now robot working for a mastermind known as Bloodthirst. As Superman saves Jimmy and Ron from Hi-Tech's attack, Bloodthirst himself shows up and attacks Superman.
He claims that Superman coming back ruined his destabilization process and he is angry. Bloodthirst knows that he cannot beat Superman hand-to-hand instead sticks Superman inside of a timewarp device. That leaves Jimmy and Ron to defend themselves.
Superman breaks free from the timewarp trap but is exhausted. Before he can recover, he is double teamed by the two villains. Right before Superman is defeated, Jimmy and Ron shove an exposed ground wire into Hi-Tech's back, shorting her out.
Superman then defeats Bloodthirst but he teleports away leaving a clue about Lex Luthor Jr. not wanting to hold this city together.
