Synopsis for "War of the Gods, Chapter Three"
Superman apprehends a group of Tattamalian terrorists planting a bomb on LexCorp. One of them screams the name of an old Mayan god, Quetzalcoatl. Meanwhile, Phobos, the Olympian god of fear, hears the name of the Mayan god and decides to use it to spread terror on Earth. He teleports to the Antarctic and uses Mister Z's gemstone, stored inside Superman's Fortress, to revive Quetzalcoatl.
Meanwhile, Cerberus Organization attacks Tattamalia, where Perry and Alice White are on vacation with the Kents. The attack draws the attention of Quetzalcoatl, and the serpent god goes there to protect his people from the terrorists. With a rampage, he destroys all of Cerberus's drones, but Superman, who arrives late at the scene, thinks the monster is responsible for the destruction. The serpent god doesn't defend against Superman, as he believes the man of steel is also a god. However, in a last benevolent act, the Mayan god of life sacrifices himself to bring rain to the country and put out all the fires caused by the terrorists in his land. Superman then helps Perry White save his wife, Alice, who got trapped under some debris inside a church.
When the Kents get back to Metropolis, Ma Kent gives Clark a souvenir from Tattamalia: a statue of the Mayan god Quetzalcoatl.
