Synopsis for "Resurrection!"

After receiving word of the destruction of Thanotopsia at the hands of Lobo as he was passing through the area, a group of aliens follow him to Earth. Lobo heads to Earth to challenge Superman and prove that even though Superman was resurrected, he is still better than him. Leaving his usual path of destruction, Lobo quickly draws the attention of Superman. A battle ensues between Supemran and Lobo, which rages across the city, as the aliens arrive. They blast Lobo and Superman with a disintegration beam, but they are uninjured. All the beam succeeds in doing, is trashing Lobo's Spacehog. Superman punches Lobo into orbit, and they both notice that the Man of Steel's strength has greatly increased. So much so that Superman realizes that he doesn't need to breathe while in space!

Meanwhile, Lobo, who has been sent crashing through several levels of the alien ship by Superman's punch, finally lands on the roof of the alien vessel and is besieged by robot bounty hunters. Superman disables the disintegration cannon on the ship, and hauls it far from Earth. He then catches back up to the ship, and helps Lobo defeat the bounty hunters. After finishing them off, Lobo realizes that the robots are zombie-like robot constructions, "Zombots", of people he's killed. Since Superman helped Lobo take care of the Zombots, Lobo decides not to fight him anymore.
