Synopsis for "Idle Hands"

Lois and Clark compete for the story on Intergang's role in the Daily Planet strikes. Lois dares Clark to get the story without using his powers.

Meanwhile, a man named Joseph Angst escapes from a containment cell in S.T.A.R. Labs after Parasite attempted to escape the facility. Angst grows into a radioactive monster, a condition caused by a military superweapon experiment that was led by Samuel Lane. Angst crashes his way to Lane's apartment, and Superman arrives moments later to save Samuel and Lois, along with S.T.A.R. Labs agents that help contain the monster. Later, in S.T.A.R. Labs, the Parasite absorbs Angst radioactive energy, returning him to his normal form.

Meanwhile, Clark's investigation leads him to Gillespie, another link in the chain of Intergang members.
