Although Perry White and Franklin Stern disagree on almost everything, they once risked their lives together to foil a racist organization. The sheriff of the small town in which this took place was the father of Alex Trent, the white Bloodsport. In the present, Robert DeBois, the black Bloodsport, is about to be transferred to Stryker's Island Penitentiary, where Alex Trent is already an inmate (and member of the Aryan Brotherhood). The warden believes this is likely to inflame racial tensions there.
