Synopsis for "War Games, Part I"

Superman saves a ship about to crash into a bridge, which happens to be the fourth time an accident occurred due to computer malfunctions.

Clark checks that Livewire hasn't escaped, then flys off to save a runaway train. However, as soon as he stops it safely, he has to save Lex Luthor from falling off a helicopter.

Everytime there is another accident, Superman cannot get there in time to prevent it.

Meanwhile, in the Daily Planet basement, Lois and Jimmy are shocked to find out something, but before they can do anything, the terminals explode.

At S.T.A.R. Labs, Professor Hamilton tells Superman that the saboteur is based in the North Pole. Just then, the power in the entire country is shut off, and Superman flys the professor to his Fortress of Solitude.

There, they find that Brainiac has stolen the orb containing all of Earth's information, and plans to destroy it with nuclear missiles. Superman starts attacking Brainiac, but is sent into the Phantom Zone.
