Synopsis for "Yesterday's Man of Tomorrow"
Mister Mxyzptlk brainstorms ideas to beat Superman, deciding to go back in time to outwit an inexperienced Superman.
Thirteen years ago, Clark flies home from school, frustrated at having to keep his powers a secret. Soon, Mr. Mxyzptlk appears and shows him a false future where he becomes a tyrant of Earth, telling him that the only way to prevent it is to exile himself.
Mr. Mxyzptlk leaves Clark on the moon and goes back to the present, rejoicing and having fun in Metropolis. Soon, he realizes that Superman was the only thing that made the third dimension tolerable, and returns to the past to offer him the same deal as usual. However, Superman wants no part of his games, and Mr. Mxyzptlk furiously retreats to the Fifth Dimension.
Back in the present, Clark has no memory of what just happened, and goes to eat breakfast with his parents. Clark decides to wait a while before becoming Superman, although his pa shows him a drawing of a Superman costume concept.
