Superman Family Adventures #1 is an issue of the series Superman Family Adventures (Volume 1) with a cover date of July, 2012.
Synopsis for the 1st Story
A meteor about to crash into Earth is halted by Superman, who throws it into space and blasts it to pieces with his heat vision. Clark is back at the Daily Planet, where Perry reprimands him for failing to report the story while Lois has successfully reported Superman's actions. Lois is skeptical that Clark misses the actions so frequently, causing Clark to nonchalantly reveal he is Superman. Lois does not believe it for one second, keeping Clark's secret safe. Suddenly, Superman must go into action when a trio of robots attacks Metropolis. At the same time, Perry gives Jimmy a special assignment: bring him coffee.
Superman is assisted by Superboy, Supergirl and Krypto. Unbeknownst to them, the robots are controlled by Lex Luthor, who has created an absorption ray that will transfer Superman's powers to his battle suit. But the plan goes awry when Krypto jumps into the ray when it is fired at Superman, thereby transferring Krypto's powers not only to Luthor but also to Luthor's mouse Fuzzy.
Lex confronts the Superman family directly, but Superman easily defeats him by ripping his battle suit to pieces. Another flaw in Lex's plan is that the ray also gave him Krypto's dog instincts, allowing Superman to easily distract Lex with a tree branch. With Fuzzy's help, the Superman Family reverses the effects of the ray and Krypto gets his powers back. Fuzzy is adopted by the Superman Family. As Superboy and Supergirl bring Luthor to prison, Superman and Krypto take Fuzzy to the Fortress of Solitude so he can get his own super-suit.
Meanwhile at the Daily Planet, Jimmy gives Perry the coffee he ordered. Even when the coffee is tainted with robot parts and debris, Perry drinks it without a problem.
