Synopsis for Supergirl: "Eyes of the Serpent"

An alien race of Serpent Men is getting ready to conquer Earth. As a first step, they gather intelligence about Supergirl and send their agent Beriak to Earth. Beriak goes to New Athens Experimental School, posing as student advisor Harry Vernon. Simultaneously, a boy named Davy Tenzer forces his way into the campus, and at a nearby orange grove a man gets sick after taking a bite of an orange.

Beriak hypnotizes a staffer into believing he's the real Vernon and also attempts to mesmerize Linda Danvers. Given that Linda's strong will is resisting his mental manipulation, Beriak commands up a sea dragon to attack the place in order to get Supergirl tired and wear her will out. Supergirl fights and defeats the sea dragon and flies back to her workplace, thinking it cannot be coincidental she draws weird guys and monsters at once.

Beriak approaches Linda, and attempts to mind-control her again. His hypnotic suggestions seems to work and he walks Linda out of the building, without noticing Davy playing his harp around him. Beriak drives Linda to an orange orchard named "Garden of Eden" and he gets Linda eat one orange. Then Beriak reveals his true self, claiming Linda is completely under his control now.

Beriak instructs Supergirl to dig up the Eden Rock -his race's source of power- beneath one of the orange trees and activate her with her own life-energy so they can subjugate humanity. Supergirl then stops pretending she is under his control and attacks Beriak. Beriak tries to fight back, but he is distracted by a rock thrown by Davy. Supergirl takes advantage of it to blast the Eden Rock to pieces, and then she reveals Beriak gave himself away when he hypnotized Linda's co-worker in front of her. Beriak wants to keep fighting, but David Tenzer's music lessens his powers. Infuriated by his failure, Beriak's superiors teleport him back to his homeworld.

After the battle, David Tenzer doesn't want to explain how he knew about her secret identity or the serpent men, but he suggests her to ask Black Canary and Green Arrow before walking off. The next day, the real Harry Vernon arrives at the college.
