Synopsis for "Superman: Up in the Sky, Part 11 – In Need"

Batman tells Wonder Woman that the mysterious spaceships have arrived in Gotham as well. Meanwhile, the mysterious voice tells Superman that he's bound with unbreakable chains made of kerenthium steel, the universe's hardest metal, forged with pressure from an inverted black hole. He however breaks through them and frees himself. Back on Earth, the heroes struggle to fend off the tide of mysterious alien robots attacking them.

The mysterious voice tells Superman that he was someone who grew bored of his privileged life and wants to rule the universe, which is why he decided to create his Robotiens who are far better than him in strength, speed and intelligence. As the voice states they can defeat him, Superman responds it cannot and destroys the one trying to attack him. Back on Earth, the heroes start being overwhelmed The voice meanwhile tells Superman that he may defeat one Robotien, but will be defeated himself by a whole battalion. He however states they won't.

On Earth, Batman sends a request to all heroes as he gets overwhelmed. The voice tells Superman he is wasting his time and Earth is suffering at hands of the Robotien invasion. He wants to conquer it because it is the main protector of other planets and states he is like the humans, thus he will be defeated. But Superman responds he won't. On Earth, the voice broadcasts a message about their heroes' failure and the planet's planned destruction. The voice however panics after Superman defeats all his robots, stating that's not what was supposed to happen and he kidnapped Alice to study humans. He states she's insignificant, but Superman states she isn't.

The superheroes on Earth respond to Batman and state all the robots have been mysteriously defeated. When Diana contacts him, Bruce states that robots were deactivated after Clark defeated their controller. Alice meanwhile believes Superman will come for him and she will return home. Superman then suddenly tears though a wall and tells her she will.
