Synopsis for "Namrepus"

Mr. Mxyzptlk is having a boring day in the fifth dimension. He lost yet another challenge against Superman and has to stay 90 days at his home dimension before he can return to the third dimension and bedevil Superman, yet again. Of all the people in the fifth dimension, Mxyzptlk enjoys life there the least. The only comfort he has is the beautiful Miss Gsptlsnz, whom Mxyzptlk is in love with. He proposes to her with a gift native to the fifth dimension, only for the gift to break apart and Gsptlsnz to storm off. Mxyzptlk doesn't understand what happened, until he finds the reason hovering above him: Superman.

The Man of Steel has travelled from the third dimension in order to bedvil Mxyzptlk and, sure enough, he goes about making Mxyzptlk's day as difficult as possible, such as ruining his dinner, freezing any path he walks on and even throwing cream pies at him. Mxyzptlk tries to get rid of Superman by making him say his name backwards, but Superman sees through every trick, frustrating Mxyzptlk even more.

Superman lectures him that he reason he beats Mxyzptlk every time is because he acts from the moral high ground, a power not even magic can beat. Superman's actions today were designed to give Mxyzptlk a taste of his own medicine and make him see how does it feel to be on the receiving end of such jokes. Mxyzptlk won't have any of Superman's explanations and just wants him to go away. Disappointed, Superman says his human name backwards and disappears, saying "Clark Kent" softly so that Mxyzptlk cannot hear it.

Mxyzptlk is happy to see Superman gone and Gsptlsnz returns to his side, kissing him in the cheek. She tells Mxyzptlk that Superman explained everything to her, which makes Mxyzptlk angry to and to promise to nail Superman for good next time.

In a press conference, S.T.A.R. Labs explains that they have sent the rover Prospect to Mars in order to find the rover Endurance, but they have lost contact with both rovers. S.T.A.R. Labs hopes that Superman can find the missing rovers, but one of the reporters thinks that such mission would be a waste of his time. Lois corrects him: no job is too small or too big for Superman.

Sure enough, Superman flies into Mars and finds Prospect trapped in some vegetation. He releases the machine from the plants and follows it across the red desert, hoping to find Endurance. They stumble upon a large boulder of blue Kryptonite and underneath it, find Bizarro and the missing Endurance. Superman throws the blue Kryptonite away, allowing Bizarro to recover and the two rovers to reunite. Synopsis for "A Little is a Lot"

Years ago, in Smallville, the Kent family had a bad harvest, but Jonathan decided to share what little they could spare with their neighbors, who had endured worse. The entire community helped each other out, surprising Clark, who had heard that some people disliked each other and Jonathan explained that people ultimately want to be good, they just need an example to bring out the best side of themselves. Jonathan tells Clark to be that example.

In the present, Superman has followed Jonathan's teaching to the letter. He finds a broken bridge about to collapse on top of a truck and holds the bridge long enough for the emergency team to build a support beam for the bridge. In the end, Jonathan's teachings proved true.

Synopsis for "For The Man Who Has Nothing"

Bizarro finds himself alone in the Chihuahuan desert, having constructed his own Fortress of Multitude as an attempt to move past his own loneliness. Suddenly, Superman and the Justice League visit him to celebrate his birthday. Bizarro has no birthday, his origins are unknown even to him, but still Superman and his friends decided to celebrate with him. They eat cake and play games and Superman gives Bizarro a present with a letter. Bizarro reads the letter, which asks Bizarro if he even knows who he is. Rather than pondering on those questions for too long, Bizarro throws away his letter and opens his present, which turns out to be a mirror with the words "Cheap copy" written in the upper part.

Suddenly, the entire Justice League laughs at him and Mr. Mxyzptlk reveals himself to have orchestrated the party as form of mockery against Bizarro. Angry, Bizarro shatters the mirror and flies away. He finds a rock to sit on for the rest of the night, with only his thoughts to keep him company. Suddenly, Superman arrives at the scene and presents Bizarro with a cupcake. In his own way, Superman cares about Bizarro, and that's enough for him.
