Synopsis for "Wonder Man, the New Hero of Metropolis!"

Superman's place in Metropolis is usurped by a new super-hero, Wonder-Man, who has all of Superman's powers plus no vulnerability to Kryptonite. Unknown to him, Wonder-Man is formerly one of his Superman robots, whose computer mind was transferred to an android body by members of the Superman Revenge Squad. The Squad attempts to get Wonder-Man to kill Superman, but the android turns against them, even though he dies shortly afterward. Wonder-Man appeared in Metropolis, performing super-heroic deeds the equal of Superman. After helping the Superman Revenge Squad attack Superman, it is revealed that Wonder Man was, in fact, a Superman Robot named Ajax, converted by the Squad to serve them against their enemy. Wonder Man teams up with Superman to defeat them, having only pretended to serve them to lure them into the open.
