The Red Kryptonite chunk returns to Earth and causes Superman to be able to speak or write only in Kryptonese. The Man of Steel copes with this problem with some help from Krypto, but, while he is doing so, a ray enters the Fortress of Solitude and changes the Red Kryptonite into Gold Kryptonite.
