Notes
- The unnamed aliens mentioned that they previously met Superman when he was Superboy and that he saved their "race and planet from a hostile invasion."
- By combining the X-Isotope and Kryptonite it would've made Metallo stronger by a factor of ten.
- From criminals and cops to displays and personal defense all guns were destroyed. All diseases were eradicated and all Kryptonite was turned into sandstone. Senior citizens were "power-charged" to defend themselves. Criminals turned themselves and their ill-gotten loot into the police thus, making Metropolis an uthopian city.
- This issue is set in the short period where the Superman of Earth-One (and all his supporting characters and villains) existed on the post-Crisis New Earth. This period ended when the effects of the Crisis "caught up" with Superman (et al) in The Man of Steel #1.
