• Superman appeared last in Action Comics #121. He appears next in Action Comics #122.

• In this issue, the Kents are named John and Mary, whereas the Silver Age Kents are named Jonathan Kent and Martha Kent.
• Superman's birth father makes his first appearance here as "Jor-El". However, the Golden Age version of the character was later retconned to be named "Jor-L", in keeping with Superman's original name, Kal-L. This presumably places the printed version of the story on Earth-Two-A, with near-identical events taking place on Earth-Two.
