- The name "Fortress of Solitude" is first used in reference to Superman's hideaway in this issue. It was previously called the "Secret Sanctuary" or "Secret Citadel". When the story is clearly Earth-Two, it was not the Secret Sanctuary, which was located near Metropolis, but a Fortress of Solitude located on polar wastes.
