Synopsis for "Power"
Clark feels guilty about the attack (by OMAC units) on the village in Peru to which he had relocated the Fortress of Solitude.
Meanwhile, Sam Benjamin tells the story of how he gained the power of Blackrock from an aging Peter Silverstone.
Later, Clark and Jimmy find themselves under attack at the Daily Planet by this new Blackrock. The resulting confrontation in combination with past events enrages Superman to the point that he fails to keep his heat vision in check, causing devastation to the city and alienating citizens of Metropolis.
Superman disposes of the the Black Rock in the sun, while an unidentified Checkmate agent plots the next move.
