Synopsis for "If This Be My Fate"
Superman rescues an alien space ship fleeing its home planet, then investigates the planet to find it totally lifeless due to the Word-Bringer. He then follows the invader's lead to his massive space ship, where thousands of brains are stored, forming The Union.
Meanwhile, Lois Lane investigates another location which has been victimized by the Word-Bringer, Trudeau, South Dakota.
