Synopsis for "By Hook or By Crook!"

Clark Kent finds his Matrix masquerading as him in his department after the silent explosion caused by the Eradicator device.

Maggie and James Sawyer visit their daughter Jamie in the Project, who is being studied along other kids previously kidnapped by Skyhook.

Meanwhile, Skyhook has been abducting children again. The winged creature calls "his darlings" telepathically to rejoin them, and they run away from the Project.

Superman, Maggie, and James follow their daughter to St. Christopher's Church. There, Superman fights Skyhook, but blinded by smoke, the creature mistakes Superman with a statue holding a spear, and is stabbed. Thanks to the Skyhook's apparent death, the children are reverted to normal and reunited with their parents.
