Synopsis for "Best Friends"

Superman forces Jimmy Olsen to have experiments undergone on him at Project Cadmus, but the Newboy Legion help bust him out using the Whiz Wagon. Superman intercepts them and brings them back to the Project. The Guardian offers himself to take Jimmy home, and Superman agrees, causing a rift between the two pals.

Meanwhile, Jose Delgado has an argument with Lois Lane about how her feelings toward Superman are affecting their relationship. He is then taken hostage during a bank robbery, and stops the robbers without his Gangbuster armor, disarming one of the criminals and gunning down another.
