Synopsis for Time & Time Again: "Phase Six: Camelot"
At Camelot, the demonic forces of Morgaine Le Fey mount a massive attack on the castle. On every wall, the Arthur's men feverishly repel Morgaine's forces, but the creatures outnumber the knights, and a new, unnamed knight garbed in black armor turns the tide in her favor. Merlin observes the battle from one of the lookout towers, frustrated that Morgaine has somehow blocked his access to the time-stream, preventing him from summoning the Shining Knight. Merlin realizes that his only course of action is to summon his half-brother, Etrigan. The Demon enters the fray, happily tearing the hordes of demons to shreds. The knights see that Etrigan has joined them, and though they are grateful for the Demon's aid, they are annoyed that they must fight alongside a demon who has allegiance to Merlin, and not Arthur. Etrigan notices part of the castle crumbling under them and leaps to the ground, where he finds the black knight bringing down the ramparts with his incredible strength. Etrigan attacks the knight, and the two opponents crash through the wall as they brutalize each other.
Elsewhere, Morgaine tells her son Mordred he will rule Camelot, and how she plans to obtain the Eternity Book. Outside of the castle, Jason Blood watches the battle from the forest.
All Superman's friends back in 20th Century Metropolis continue their lives.
Etrigan's battle with the black knight rages on. The knight appears to be gaining the upper-hand, as he punches Etrigan into another wall. Etrigan quickly recovers, and blasts him with hellfire. The blast burns off the knight's armor, revealing his true identity, as Superman. Etrigan communicates with Merlin's astral form and shows him the displaced Superman. Merlin teleports Superman to his chambers and removes Morgaine's magical influences. Merlin makes contact with Superman in his mind, and looks into the past, enabling him to see how Superman arrived, and how Morgaine blocked him from entering the time-stream to get Shining Knight. Merlin casts his own spell and conjures a suit of armor for the Man of Steel to protect him form the sorceress' magic. He promises that if Superman fights for Camelot he'll return the Man of Steel to his proper time. Superman dons the suit, and runs outside, where he meets Morgaine's forces in battle.
Merlin summons Etrigan and gives him a page of the Eternity Book before sending him forth to take up residence in a nearby human host until Merlin can recharge his mystical energies. Superman confronts Morgaine and Mordred and she tries to use her magic against the Kryptonian, but he upends a stone slab under her, knocking her off-balance. She blasts him, destroying his armor but she quickly realises Merlin's final solution. They flee the scene, leaving Superman with the realisation that Merlin has lied to him, as the great wizard razes the castle to the ground.
Jason Blood sees the explosion from afar, but he doesn't realize that the nightmare of his relationship with Etrigan has just begun.
