Superman (Volume 2) #60 is an issue of the series Superman (Volume 2) with a cover date of October, 1991.
Synopsis for "Intergang --No More!"
Clark Kent follows Gillespie to Happy Land and steals his briefcase, containing confidential information about Intergang's illegal activities. Clark takes the exposé to the Newstime Magazine, and the news breaks out the next day, exposing Intergang and putting all authorities hunting them.
Meanwhile, Agent Liberty investigates Clark Kent for stealing Gillespie's briefcase. He sneaks inside Clark's department and reads Intergang's documents, and learns that they are expecting a shipment that night.
Bruno Mannheim takes the remaining Intergang agents, including Gillespie, to the pier in Metropolis, where he expects a shipping of coke he bought before the exposé. But Superman arrives and destroys the coke. Panicking, Gillespie opens a Boom Tube calling for Parademons. Mannhein reveals his Apokoliptian bio-armor, and fights head-to-head with Superman. Agent Liberty, who arrived earlier at the scene, manages to close the Boom Tube using his equipment, closing off the Parademons' arrival. Superman finally defeats Mannheim and takes him to Stryker's Island Penitentiary.
