Synopsis for "Psi War, Part One"
Four years ago, a young man, one of the Twenty, steals the Medusa Mask from the Metropolis Museum of Art, puts it and becomes the Psycho Pirate.
In the present, Superman has been captured by the H.I.V.E. Queen. He attempts to stop her, but she defeats him with her mental powers.
Meanwhile, at the hospital, Lois is in a coma, with her boyfriend Jonathan at her side. Lois then wakes up and calls for Superman.
Hector Hammond attacks the Queen, and the two telepaths engage in combat using the people of Metropolis as soldiers. The Queen goes to the H.I.V.E. headquarters to attack Hammond directly. Superman, free from the Queen's control, is attacked by the brainwashed citizens. Not wanting to attack them, Superman goes to the H.I.V.E. headquarters to stop the Queen.
Superman finds the base in ruins. Among the rubble, he finds a heavily injured Hammond, who says that the Queen is dead. In that moment, the Psycho Pirate appears. He is aware of Superman's identity.
