Synopsis for "In the Name of the Father: World's Smallest, Part 1"

At school, Jon and Kathy meet a girl called Maya, who is secretly monitoring Superboy for an unknown party. As school hours end and Kathy returns home, Superboy goes to investigate some mysterious happenings in Dead Man's Swamp. There, he stumbles upon some bizarre creatures until the mysterious Nobody and her flying creature Goliath grab him and take him into the sky. Nobody is actually Maya, the girl Jon had met earlier at school. Unfortunately, Superboy's freeze breath goes off and causes them all to fall towards the ground. Goliath only has seconds to spare before shielding the kids from the impact, but Superboy is knocked unconscious.

As Superboy wakes up, he finds himself strapped to a table deep within the Batcave, observed by Robin and Nobody. Robin is not happy Superman and his family have been using Batman's property and believes Superboy to be a threat. Batman arrives, umcomfortable with Robin, and attempts to clear the misunderstanding until Superman angrily breaks into the Batcave, demanding to know where his son is. To prevent more fighting, Superboy uses his freeze breath to create an ice wall to separate both father-son duos.

Superman is given enough time to calm down and ultimately, everyone gets acquainted with each other. Batman performs some DNA analysis on Superboy and, showing concern for Superboy's power manifestations, promises to keep Superman updated. Superman asks him if their fathers ever had questions about how to raise children, and Batman replies that all good fathers do.

Unfortunately, Superboy and Robin had gotten off with the wrong foot, made worse when Robin makes a bad joke about Superboy accidentally killing his pet. Superboy assaults Robin and a fight breaks out between them, which is only ended when both boys are angrily glared down by their fathers.
