Synopsis for "Multiplicity, Part One"

Clark Kent is driving home one night in Hamilton County until he almost drive into the Superman of Earth-30 in the middle of the road. Superman (Earth-30) is in a disorient state before collapsing. Clark changes into his Superman costume and helps up his Earth-30 counterpart. The Soviet Superman tries to explain that a being called "Prophecy" and his "Gatherers" had captured him, apparently for his power, and was almost set to be "processed" but managed to escape. But while he fled, he overheard the Gatherers that are planning to target this world's Superman: Kenan Kong. Superman (Earth-30) is suddenly struck down by a beam coming from his pursuers, the monstrous humanoid Gatherers.

Superman demands what the Gatherers' intentions are, but the Gatherers all claimed that they are obligated to "The Lyst" of gathering Supermen throughout the Multiverse and "process" them. But they are not obligated to capture this Earth's Superman because he is not on "The Lyst". A fight soon ensues in which the two Supermen managed to subdue the Gatherers with their heat visions. Just as they dealt with the Gatherers, the Justice League Incarnate appear before them. The Superman of Earth-23 introduce himself and his team to the "New Earth" Superman, and explains that they too are investigating the perpetrator that is abducting the Supermen of the Multiverse. Superman tells to his Earth-23 counterpart about finding Kenan Kong.

In Henan Province, Kenan is visiting the Longmen Grottoes where the Gatherers have finally found him. The Gatherers easily capture Kenan by coating him in a tar-like substance and take him through a portal. Superman and the Justice League Incarnate arrive too late to save Kenan, but they manage to capture a Gatherer instead. Batman of Earth-17 explains that once the Gatherers are gone, they and their captives are literally dropped off the Multiverse map and there is no way to trace them. Regardless, Superman is determine to stop the Gatherers and joins the JL Incarnate.

Elsewhere, Captain Carrot is taken from his cell inside a prison holding the Supermen of the Multiverse. He is then place inside a machine that turns him into a normal rabbit.
