Synopsis for "Black Dawn, Chapter 3"

At the Kent Farm, Lois has waited for her family's safe return for hours, but so far, there are no signs of them. Suddenly, she catches a glimpse of a fire in the distance, so she drives to the field and sees the big oak, the tree Jon and his friend Kathy played with, is on fire. Worried, Lois drives to the Cobb's house and tells Kathy and her grandfather about the tree. Mr. Cobb asks about Clark and Jon but Lois says they are fine.

Driving downtown, Lois finds her friend Candice up and running again, even though she got injured in Superman's battle with the giant squid. Lois follows her to the town hall and stumbles upon a room filled with monitors that depict moments of the Kents' lives. Lois realizes the populace of Hamilton has been monitoring their lives and now, their secret identities have been compromised. She gets suddenly attacked by Candice, but is able to disarm her and make her way to her truck. Lois drives back home and attempts to activate the communicator left by the Justice League in case of emergencies. Unfortunately, the citizens of Hamilton are already waiting for her.

Lois avoids capture and reaches a box that contains a special gauntlet, equipped with an energy attack to keep Lois' enemies at bay. As she fends off her attackers, the Batmobile responds to the signal emitted by Lois' gauntlet and Lois gets inside. The Batmobile's computer connects with Lois' gauntlet and she gains permission to pilot it. As she drives across Hamilton, Lois uses the Batmobile's weapons to take out her enemies, but suddenly the Batmobile is dismantled piece by piece by Mr. Cobb.

Meanwhile at Deadman's Swamp, Superman explores the mysterious house and founds a passage that leads to a huge metal corridor, at the end of which is a large chamber housing several captives, like Batman, Robin, Frankenstein and his bride.
