Synopsis for "Chapter One: Voices in Your Head"
Ever since he was imprisoned, Lex Luthor has been giving Superman unsolicited "advice" from jail, aware that his rival is constantly monitoring him with his super-hearing. A blue and red tornado appears around the LexCorp building and Superman rushes over. To his shock, he sees that the tornado is comprised of nanobots stamped with his logo. They completely reconfigure the building and build a giant Superman Symbol on the roof.
Mercy Graves tells him that Luthor has renamed the company Supercorp and signed it over to him so he can use its resources to protect Earth. Superman refuses and says he will just turn over control of the company to its employees, but Mercy tells him that if he tries to hand off the company to anyone it will be dissolved and nearly half the people in Metropolis will lose their jobs. Superman flies to Stryker's Island to confront Luthor, but is attacked by Parasite before he can reach it.
Parasite tells Superman that his hunger is stronger than ever after somebody modified him. Superman knocks Parasite away and tells him that they can undo whatever Luthor did to him, but Parasite says it wasn't Lex. Multiple smaller clones split off from his body and mob Superman. In his cell, Luthor tells Superman that some old enemies of his are behind this.
