Synopsis for "Lex's Truth"

Luthor knocks out Graft and dons the armour he used when he tried to act as Superman. He goes out to face Leticia and try to stop her, as Superman is too weakened to survive any exposure to the altered Kryptonite. Superman rallies the entire workforce of Supercorp and tasks them to find a way to reverse the effects of the Kryptonite. Over comms, he asks Luthor what happened between him and Graft and Pharm, and Luthor reveals that when he first came to Metropolis and tried to become a superhero, Graft and Pharm were his arch-enemies. During one of their fights he saw that the brothers had built a device powered by Kryptonite, which he had been obsessed by since discovering it in Smallville as a teenager. They set aside their differences to work together as men of science and researched Kryptonite for months, discovering that it reacted to concentrated yellow sun radiation. When Luthor decided that he had gotten everything he needed from the brothers he stole their research and ran them out of town.

Luthor finds Leticia and they fight in the sky over Metropolis. Back at Supercorp, Superman tells Lena and Mercy they need a way to return the Kryptonite to its natural state. Mercy says they will need a massive battery to drain the radiation and Superman realises they have one: Parasite. They find a way to drain the yellow sunlight out of the Kryptonite and tell Luthor what to do to eliminate the toxic cloud, but he refuses to do it until he defeats Leticia. Superman tells him that his top priority should be saving lives and that this is his chance to show that he has changed. After a moment, Luthor begrudgingly breaks off the fight and releases an energy wave that negates the Kryptonite gas. Leiticia tries to shoot him down while he is distracted, but Lena remotely deactivates both their armour. Lex and Leticia drop out of the sky, but Superman catches them both. He returns them both safely to the ground and hands Leticia over to the police, while a crowd of civilians cheer for him and Lex.

Lex is returned to Strykers while the Revenge Squad are imprisoned in a high-security facility away from him. Superman comes to visit Lex and Lex congratulates Superman on embracing his role as head of Supercorp. Superman asks Luthor if there are any other secrets he is keeping and Lex denies it. Despite his shiftiness, Superman doesn't hear his pulse change, suggesting he is telling the truth. Later he meets up with Lois on the roof of the Daily Planet and she shows him the latest edition edited by Jimmy, which credits Lex Luthor with saving Metropolis. Clark wonders why Graft and Pharm suddenly returned to take revenge on Luthor after so many years. Meanwhile Lobo breaks free of his bonds in Graft and Pharm's abandoned lab, while the Skull Ship hurtles towards Earth.
